The incident follows an infiltration alert in the Jordan Valley region on Monday night. In response to the suspected infiltration, the IDF set up blockades in the area to locate any suspects.

Police said a serious indictment is expected in the coming days, together with a request to keep the suspect detained until the end of the proceedings.

"For an expensive night at a club and a hotel stay with all the luxuries, there are boys today who will be willing to cooperate and do whatever is required of them," one figure said.

The discovery came as part of police’s ongoing investigations into the violent clash between two feuding families in Silwan that occurred over the weekend and led to the deaths of three people.

The event at hand is an appreciation event for Israel Police volunteers and members of police emergency squads. It is officially planned to mark 50 years of the police volunteer system. 

Following their arrest, Southern District Police Commander Haim Bublil signed an administrative order closing the property for 30 days.

According to police suspicions, the complainants’ consent to the alleged acts was obtained through deception, as they believed the person with whom they were in a relationship was a man.

The decision preserves the status quo, blocking the appointment process while judges consider whether the freeze should remain in place until the case is resolved.

Video footage of the incident showed Yushayev leaving a restaurant at the gas station before the suspected killer approached him from behind and shot him at close range in the head.

Israel Police received a report of the incident, opened an investigation, and are preparing to enter the area with the IDF.
