Traffic was disrupted at the entrance to Jerusalem on Saturday evening after Haredi protesters set up a series of roadblocks, police said.

Overall police recruitment has risen in recent years, but Muslim enlistment has sharply declined, despite Muslims accounting for more than 18% of Israel’s population.

According to the police, a 20-year-old had been caught driving a stolen car, after which it was determined that he was also a draft evader. 

The minor, a 16-year-old, was arrested earlier this month after an investigation uncovered that he had allegedly sworn loyalty to ISIS.

The decision does not close the investigation or clear the suspects, but without knowing how Dayan died, police have been unable to establish the evidence needed to sustain a murder allegation.

The charge alleges that the defendants acted together and caused bodily injuries to two of the three complainants. The investigation was conducted by PID’s northern team.

The employee, a 45-year-old woman, was evacuated in moderate condition to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon by Magen David Adom.

According to Israel Police, a confrontation had broken out last Tuesday between the motorcycle rider and the bus driver over a road-use dispute, escalating to the alleged stabbing.

Entry to Area A, which is under the Palestinian Authority's civil and security control, is prohibited for Israelis.
