“Hamas hasn’t declared an end to its rule in the Gaza Strip,” a senior Palestinian official in Ramallah told The Jerusalem Post on Monday.

Hamas has its messaging, and it wants to stir the pot and confuse everyone by obfuscating whether it will give up power that it was never supposed to have.

He later criticized the maritime border agreement with Lebanon, which was signed under the government of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid.

The Telegraph alleged that some Gazans, who are healthy, have gotten hold of forged medical documents in order to get evacuated from Gaza. 

Additionally shown in the documents is Hezbollah’s false promise to join Hamas in its attack on Israel on October 7 due to its fear of Israel’s retaliation, as the Post has previously reported.

“To be abducted in Athens on an Air France plane makes sense,” Gonen said. “But to be abducted at home, in the State of Israel, it was too much.”

"The way we look today at an emerging threat, our approach toward the enemy is different. Today there is no such thing as no response. That thinking is different from before," the officer said.

Nuha Abusamra, who represented one of the defendants, said the conviction on lesser charges marked a victory, according to local media KQED.

"It is fitting and proper that they [soldiers] be first in the order of priorities to receive the nation’s appreciation through its decisions and allocation of resources," said Zamir.
