Settler Violence

Settlers arrived at the Palestinian villages of Kusra and Jalud on Saturday afternoon, barricading themselves inside a Palestinian home and hurling stones at locals.

According to NBC, three members of its team had been interviewing 51-year-old Aida Ahmed Abdullah, who claimed that she and her family had been driven out of their home by settlers.

The Prime Minister called out the violent event, where dozens of settler rioters gathered on the outskirts of the village of Kusra in the West Bank and were later dispersed by the IDF.

All of this takes place as IDF officials have said Jewish extremist violence has reached new levels, with hundreds of extremists recently drawing out a conflict with the IDF.

He shared footage showing him approaching the soldiers with his hands behind his back, in view of the camera, as he tried to walk past while the soldiers blocked him.

Anyone who truly believes that a peaceful solution to this conflict can now be achieved simply through an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and the creation of a Palestinian state is naive.

In the letter to Netanyahu, seen by Reuters and signed by 45 of the Senate's 47-member Democratic caucus, the lawmakers noted increasing levels of "fatal violence by settlers."

The IDF stated that the soldiers spoke with their commanders after seeing what was happening and were instructed to intervene and remove the group from the village.

Sukkot's behavior is a "disgrace" to public leaders, Eisenkot stated. "He lied and deceived the IDF and its commanders, harmed security and tarnished the entire State of Israel."

The IDF confirmed that it had diverted troops from standard operational duties to guard Sukkot and his aides on what he called a 'memorial tour' in several villages in Areas A and B in the West Bank.
