One week ago, Toronto police Deputy Chief Frank Barredo announced a new ban on pro-Palestinian demonstrations in Jewish residential areas of the city.

"While the Israeli public is sitting in shelters, the government of massacre approves a pig-sized budget," the protesters stated.

Residents of a Syrian Christian town protested after homes and shops were burned in sectarian violence, calling for investigations and stronger state control.

The protests came amid heightened security tensions following an altercation that quickly escalated into a state of mobilization and limited gatherings.

More than 3,200 events had been planned in all 50 states, after the two previous nationwide events attracted millions of participants.

Police asked organizers and participants to remain on the legislature lawn instead, “where the environment is safer and more controlled.”

The Hengaw human rights organization reported that the men gave their confessions after being tortured, and they were found guilty despite there being no witnesses or evidence.

The Al Quds Day Rally is a well-known part of an international day of demonstrations established in 1979 by then-Islamic supreme leader Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini.

The device, a jar filled with nuts, bolts and screws and wrapped in black tape with a fuse, was thrown by a counterprotester on Saturday outside Gracie Mansion.

“I didn't think I'd be jumped on by tons of people because of a photo of a man who murdered nearly 30,000 Iranian citizens,” Dillz told The Jerusalem Post.
