In a video recorded by the victim's wife, Perozo punches the victim in the head and tells him, "Now you’re going to die. Walk away before I kill you."

Ahead of the protest, police said Highway 4 will be blocked between the Aluf Sade Interchange in Ramat Gan and the Em Hamoshavot Interchange in Petah Tikva.  

Demonstrators drenched the pavement in fake blood invoking classical "blood libel" tropes long used to incite antisemitic violence.

Malchieli has stated that yeshiva students should be able to defer service as long as Torah study is their occupation, and recently said he would "not ask for a collective exemption for haredim."

This marks the eighth consecutive week of protests. Several MKs, including Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman, have joined counterprotests in previous weeks.

Speakers included Jewish leaders and activists, with the rally focused on demanding greater security, confronting rising antisemitism, and demonstrating that Jews and our allies will stand together. 

Israel outlaws all political violence – whether committed by Palestinians or Jews, right-wingers or left-wingers, in the territories or in major cities.

Among the signs held by the protesters were ones reading "No place for Israel in a good world" and "Israelis are baby killers."

Rabbi Yossi Gabai told The Post that the center, which opened two weeks ago, has been targeted by individuals protesting its presence. 

The protest follows an overnight incident in which a woman glued the entrance to Jerusalem's Basimta cafe shut, delaying its opening by 40 minutes.
