Nuclear talks with iran

Top national security advisers met in the White House Situation Room to discuss Iran and were told all US forces deployed to the region should be in place by mid-March, the official said.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt stated that Tehran would be wise to reach an agreement to avoid any conflict.

Two critical events have changed everything since 2025, and the Islamic Republic appears dedicated to living in an alternate reality in which those events have not transpired. 

“Progress was made, but there are still a lot of details to discuss," said the official, who declined to be identified, detailing discussions in Geneva.
