Police arrest man from Bat Yam in connection to Japanika restaurant attacks in central Israel

The suspect is expected to appear before the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court on Friday, where police will request his detention be extended to facilitate the ongoing investigation into the incidents.

Supreme Court denies house arrest for Chaim Rotter, Bnei Brak man accused of rape, targeting minors

The decision came after a Tel Aviv District Court ruled on Sunday that Rotter could be released to house arrest with electronic monitoring in Safed, a move the prosecution opposed.
