The IDF arrested 60 suspects and seized firearms in counterterrorism operations across the West Bank. A terrorist also opened fire on soldiers in Gaza near the Yellow Line.

While Hamas was flooding the world with unverified figures, Israel made no systematic effort to challenge them. 

The documents, spanning from February 2023 to an hour before attack, show how Israel's defense echelon misread Hamas’s intentions, and characterized the terror group as deterred.

"We do not need to be dragged after Hamas. We need to act all the time. Our military approach is not right," Maariv correspondent Avi Ashkenazi said in an interview.

According to the Southern District Attorney’s Office, this was an “organized, systematic, and sophisticated smuggling operation of various goods into the Gaza Strip in exchange for financial gain.”

The IDF veteran served as a combat engineer during the Israel-Hamas War and is due to speak at Boston University on Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, the IDF and Shin Bet announced the killing of Muhammad Issam Hassan al-Habil, who murdered IDF Cpl. Noa Marciano. 

"Sometimes the cost reaches thousands of shekels," a source told Walla, explaining that the skyrocketing cost is due to decreased supply and high demand. 

HRW said they concluded “aspects of the research and the factual basis for our legal conclusions needed to be strengthened to meet Human Rights Watch’s high standards.”
