RGANIA, the Israeli haircare brand, launches a new Pro line with the Castor Saffron series – a combination of castor oil and saffron extract. We tested the shampoo, mask, and serum, and we can say we fell in love with the mask: Hair came out soft and shiny, without a heavy feeling. The serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly, and it doesn’t weigh down the hair either. The shampoo cleanses well, but isn’t dramatically different from what we knew. The scent is delicate and pleasant across the entire series. A line that may interest anyone looking to upgrade daily haircare at reasonable prices.

The Korean brand Round Lab has landed on Super-Pharm shelves with two series: 1025 Dokdo, the flagship line based on deep sea water, and Birch Juice, a birch sap series focused on hydration. We tested products from both and were especially impressed with the tone-up sunscreen from the Birch Juice series (a natural ingredient that soothes the skin) – lightweight, doesn’t leave white marks, and gives a subtle glow that easily replaces foundation. The toner from the Dokdo series was pleasantly surprising – skin felt refreshed and hydrated without stickiness.

Dr. Fischer adds a new moisturizing cream for curly hair to its Professional series, with Glaze, an ingredient designed to coat each curl and prevent frizz. We tested it on dry curly hair and the results are encouraging: Curls came out more defined than usual, and frizz was reduced on the first day. The texture is light and non-heavy, the scent is pleasant and not dominant, and the price is very fair. The downside: In very high humidity, hair may feel heavier. Overall, a good daily solution.

Sano Sushi launches a pair of XXL cardboard baking molds with colorful prints – a great solution for birthday celebrations. We tested them while baking and were impressed: The cardboard is indeed firm and stable even with heavy dough, and it didn’t burn or absorb grease. The size is very suitable for family-sized pastries and large cakes, and the cheerful prints eliminate the need for a separate serving plate.

Sabocalm, a dermo-cosmetics brand, launches a cleansing foam for oily, acne-prone skin with 2% salicylic acid and niacinamide. We tested it on combination skin suffering from seasonal hormonal breakouts and were impressed: The foam is gentle but cleans thoroughly, without the annoying discomfort that oily-skin products often leave. After a week of use, slight reductions in redness and oiliness were noticeable.

Tzabar, the veteran salad brand, launches its popular salads in 225-gram packaging – a smaller format that allows combining several salads in one meal. We tested a few: The Moroccan matbucha is as tasty as ever, the grilled eggplant with tahini is rich and successful, and the hummus with 26% raw tahini is still one of the best of its kind in our opinion. The smaller packaging is indeed more convenient for daily use and prevents waste. The only issue is the price – it doesn’t seem to have decreased in proportion to the reduced quantity.

Gad Dairies launches Labaneh with Zehuk – a combination of creamy Labaneh with aromatic green Zehuk at medium heat. We tasted it and our first reaction was: Why wasn’t this thought of sooner? A perfect pairing. The Zehuk doesn’t just add spiciness, but also a rich aroma that blends nicely with the tanginess of the Labaneh. The texture remains smooth and thick as it should, and it spreads easily. Works great with warm pita, but also as a sandwich spread or a dip with vegetables.

The Japanese skincare brand Shiseido recently launched a retinol serum for deep wrinkles and age spots, aimed at women over 40. We tested it and were pleasantly surprised: After a week of targeted nightly use, the skin appeared slightly more even and tightened around smile lines. The serum absorbs quickly, does not irritate, and doesn’t leave an oily feeling. The formula combines pure retinol with a patented brand ingredient, which is claimed to increase the effect by 32% compared to regular retinol. The result is impressive for anyone seeking a focused and effective treatment for signs of aging and willing to commit to a regular routine.
