British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said later on Thursday that four additional Typhoon fighter jets would be sent to Qatar as the conflict in the Middle East escalates.

Also on Thursday, Azerbaijan announced on Thursday that it was preparing unspecified retaliatory measures after it said four Iranian drones flew across its border and injured four people.

Flights are planned from Muscat to Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, London's Heathrow, Madrid, and Rome as well as from Riyadh to Frankfurt.

The State Department did not provide any further details on transportation operations but urged US citizens in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Israel to contact the Department if in need.

Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that “evidence on the ground” disproved the Iranian claim and decried the strikes as a “flagrant violation” of Qatar’s sovereignty.

Foreign reports have indicated that the Saudis, the UAE, Qatar, and possibly others may already have attacked Iran or have expressed interest in doing so.

Officials said seven of those detained had been assigned to gather intelligence on critical and military sites across the country. The remaining three were allegedly preparing acts of sabotage.
