Albanese's center-left government enacted laws for the buyback, tighter gun license checks, and a crackdown on hate in the wake of the attack at a Bondi Beach Hanukkah celebration.

Seattle Police Department stated that officers responded to the scene after 6 p.m. and are investigating the incident, advising people to avoid the area as victims are treated.

The police investigation, conducted alongside the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), uncovered photographic evidence proving that the suspects possessed and carried illegal firearms.

Police confirmed the deaths of three people, including a school vice principal, a 70-year-old man and a 6-year-old child. One security operative was injured.

Documents filed at San Diego Superior Court demonstrate that Caleb Vazquez had been on the police’s radar long before Monday’s shooting. 

The case involved the theft of weapons from the IDF by an active-duty soldier, who allegedly transferred them to a civilian who sold them to criminal elements.

Among the newly included locations are Caesarea, where members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s family reside, as well as Arad, Rosh Pinna, and a series of communities in the Upper Galilee.

The police conducted an independent investigation separate from the prosecution, uncovering "early and deliberate preparation for criminal activity, using a variety of means."

The military also killed a Hezbollah terrorist who was monitoring IDF operations in the region, and killed additional terror cells, seizing their weapons, including explosives and firearms.

The Plateau state government said the gunmen were unknown and imposed a 48-hour curfew in the district. The University of Jos suspended examinations due to start on Monday.
