Campus Antisemitism

An AMCHA Initiative study examining 278 university events found a stark link between pre-Oct. 7 support for boycotting Israel and accusations of genocide in academic programming.

They insist it is possible, indeed necessary, to be both pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian because the two peoples are bound together. On the surface, this sounds reasonable. 

The report highlights how complex procedural rules, low participation rates in internal meetings, and strong pressure to conform allow small, highly organized groups to bypass the wider membership.

CUNY agreed to a settlement and to provide all its stock and bond holdings for every fiscal year since January 2020. This is to be done within the next 15 days.

The study was conducted by the Olam, an institutional intelligence platform for Israel and the global Jewish economy, and published in early August.

The complaint said Van Erem and others suggested to also open probes into allegations of anti-Muslim bias on university campuses but those proposals "were not pursued by leadership."

This examination follows the arrest of an individual employed by Al-Khair Foundation, who was extradited to the US and charged with conspiring to provide material support to Hamas.

The attack, which was premeditated, left one of the victims with a brain injury and his friend with a broken wrist that required surgery.

In his ruling, US District Judge Richard Stearns in Boston said the Trump administration’s lawsuit, filed in March, had not plausibly shown an ongoing violation of federal civil rights law.
