Antisemitism

According to ministry officials, a record number of antisemitic incidents took place. It included physical assaults, fights, spitting, verbal abuse, denial of service, and expulsion from hotels.

The aggressors, who were local Kazakh Muslims according to KAN, also shouted "Heil Hitler" and "Get out of here" as they attacked the Israelis.

Some Argentinians have shot back at the narrative that theirs is the pro-Israel team, while others have pointed to an Argentinian soccer great who once told Mahmoud Abbas, “My heart is Palestinian.”

One of the other victims suffered a broken jaw, and another fainted due to the severity of the beatings received.
