Tehran extended an invitation to IAEA Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi and would allow him to bring “US nuclear inspectors” to Iran, US envoy Steve Witkoff told US officials.

The fund complements the UK's wider efforts to support a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine, said Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.

The government approved a proposal to bring the entire 6,000-person community from northern India to Israel, with 1,200 members expected to arrive by the end of this year.

"This agreement is going to make Israel safer, going to make the entire region safer. We feel quite confident that the Israelis are going to be brought in," Vance said in a CBS interview.

The fund, contingent on Iran’s adherence to a final US ceasefire deal, would be created to attract investment in Iran’s abundant energy resources. 

The drafted text of the deal, which Pakistani Prime Minister Shagbaz Sharif announced had been agreed upon earlier on Friday, also outlines the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
