The plot was reportedly conducted by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps with the aim of creating panic and reputational damage to the country. 

Trump affirmed earlier on Friday that there would be no deal with Iran and that the US would only accept the Islamic regime’s “unconditional surrender.”

He reportedly received only light wounds and is in stable condition.
