With the fall holiday season wrapped up and winter just around the corner, the Tourism Ministry is making a strong push to get Israelis traveling again. Throughout November, "Israel Tourism Month" returns for its second consecutive year, running under the slogan "The Best Value in the Country."

The nationwide campaign features approximately 1,000 guided tours - including select segments of the Israel National Trail - alongside hundreds of cultural, culinary, heritage, and nature activities priced at just NIS 18 per person. Complementing the activity lineup, hotels and lodging accommodations across the country are offering discounts of at least 25 percent.

The month-long program is divided into four distinct weekly phases, each showcasing a different region of Israel. During the first three weeks, flagship Friday events will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, featuring live musical performances, children's theater, circus acts, street artists, and food stalls showcasing local agricultural produce and regional specialties.

From Jerusalem to the North

The opening week, running November 4 to 7, will focus on Jerusalem and the surrounding region, encompassing Judea and Samaria, the Jordan Valley, the Northern Dead Sea, and the Judean Foothills. The initial flagship event takes place November 6 at Eyal Park in Jerusalem, featuring performances by The Revivo Project, Stalos & Oren Chen, and the children's show featuring Miki Manishmiki.

In the second week, November 11 to 14, focus shifts to the North - stretching from Haifa and the Jordan Valley to the northern border. The main event will take place November 13 at Park Berko in Tiberias, overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Berry Sakharof and Dudu Tassa are set to perform, alongside children's programming featuring The crazy Duck and Dod Haim. The choice of Tiberias is deliberate: According to CBS data published last week, Tiberias recorded the lowest hotel occupancy rate among surveyed cities in September, standing at just 42 percent.

From Ashkelon to Eilat

The third week, November 18 to 21, centers on the South, spanning from Ashkelon and the Gaza envelope through Beersheba down to the Southern Dead Sea and Eilat. On November 20, an event at Tel Ashkelon National Park will feature Lior Narkis, singer Narkis, Aric Sinai, and a children's performance by Meni Mamtera.

From the Center to long-term recovery

The final week, November 25 to 28, will be dedicated to Central Israel - covering the area from the southern Carmel region, Jezreel Valley, and Mount Gilboa down to Ashdod. While no single major flagship event is scheduled for this closing week, guided tours, local attractions, and special accommodation deals will remain fully accessible.

According to the ministry, the initiative is designed to boost domestic tourism during a traditionally quiet shoulder season while offering targeted support to local businesses affected by the ongoing war.

"Domestic tourism serves as a vital anchor for the industry, supporting hotels, tour guides, attractions, and local businesses," said Tourism Minister Haim Katz.
