The IDF struck several Hezbollah tunnels used as weapons storage facilities across Lebanon, the military announced on Thursday.
According to an IDF statement regarding the operation, "following the strikes, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons in the area."
Hezbollah terrorist activity, "constituting a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon," had been observed at the sites prior to the strikes
The IDF emphasized that they will "continue to operate to remove any threat against the State of Israel" moving forward.
IDF operations in Gaza
Earlier on Thursday, IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip near the Yellow Line identified a terrorist approaching and posing an immediate threat to soldiers.
The IDF acted to remove the threat and killed the terrorist, the military confirmed, asserting that "IDF troops in the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat."
