The IDF is investigating a suspected attempted hit-and-run incident that occurred near the Tapuah intersection in the West Bank on Thursday.

No injuries related to the attempted ramming were reported.

IDF forces in the area apprehended the vehicle suspected to have been used in the incident in Nablus, detained the suspected perpetrator, and transferred them to security forces for questioning.

Similar suspected ramming occurred on Wednesday

On Wednesday, a similar suspected ramming incident occurred in the Ofra area in the West Bank.

According to Israeli media reports on Wednesday, the incident began when an Israeli driver and a Palestinian driver got into an argument that escalated into a fight.

The Israeli driver reportedly tried to pepper-spray the Palestinian driver, who then got back into his vehicle and attempted to run the Israeli over before fleeing the scene.

IDF forces set up checkpoints in the area in an attempt to locate the Palestinian driver and reportedly stopped a vehicle carrying two passengers that matched the description of the car used in the attempted ramming.
