Israeli hotel chains are launching special Independence Day promotions aimed at drawing local travelers, with Africa Israel Hotels offering discounts of up to 30% at selected properties and Dan Hotels announcing a separate holiday campaign tied to the 78th Independence Day celebrations.
Africa Israel Hotels said its “Blue and White” sale would run from April 21 through April 23 and include offers at hotels from the Dead Sea to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Dan Hotels, meanwhile, said it would mark the holiday with a special promotion that includes an 18% discount, plus an additional 8% discount for e-dan club members at some of the chain’s hotels.
In a statement, Africa Israel Hotels said the campaign would apply across brands, including VERT Hotels, Crowne Plaza, Poli House, and Hotel Indigo, as part of an effort to strengthen domestic tourism and encourage Israelis to vacation locally during the holiday period. The company described the promotion as a focused opportunity for an Israeli holiday getaway, pairing sought-after locations with what it called clear consumer value.
Among the offers highlighted by Africa Israel Hotels were up to 30% off at VERT Dead Sea, with rates starting at NIS 1,104 per couple per night including breakfast, and up to 30% off at VERT Jerusalem, with rates starting at NIS 632 per couple per night including breakfast. T
he chain also listed Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach at a 10% discount, starting from NIS 1,035 per night, including breakfast, and Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center from NIS 586 per night for a couple, also including breakfast. The company said the promotion was subject to availability and chain terms and could be changed at any time.
Discounts and Holiday themed events
Dan Hotels said its campaign would cover Independence Day itself as well as the holiday weekend. The chain said that, despite the difficult period Israel has gone through, it believed this year called for marking the country’s 78th Independence Day and what it described as a return to full routine. Alongside the discounts, Dan said it would hold holiday-themed events at hotels around the country, including children’s activities, music, and festive barbecue meals.
The back-to-back campaigns reflect an effort by major Israeli hotel groups to capture domestic demand during one of the busiest points on the local travel calendar, with chains emphasizing both price and holiday programming as part of their Independence Day appeal.
