The Bug retail chain is officially launching PLAUD.AI products in Israel, an American hardware and software brand from San Francisco that specializes in documenting and transcribing conversations, meetings, and ideas in real time using artificial intelligence. The company, which was founded less than two years ago, currently operates in more than 170 countries with over 2 million users worldwide, and targets professionals who manage their daily schedules around meetings and dialogues – such as executives, salespeople, lawyers, doctors, and creators. The system is based on the concept that technology should work alongside the user to save time and increase productivity, without replacing the human element in the process.

Behind the devices stands the advanced AI engine Plaud Intelligence, which integrates the market's leading language models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. This combination allows the system to provide transcription in more than 112 languages, including full support for the Hebrew language. Beyond the dry documentation itself, the system is capable of automatically generating smart meeting summaries, mind maps, to–do lists, and broad insights, utilizing a repository of more than 10,000 professional templates tailored to various needs.

At the core of the brand's development is an approach known as Human AI Alignment, which aims to create a real–time connection between human and machine. The company strives to move away from the concept of a passive recording tool, presenting instead a work assistant that understands contexts and helps maintain organizational continuity. Another key aspect emphasized by the company concerns privacy protection and user data security, with support for strict international standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and EN18031. The system features full data encryption and a Zero Training policy, which guarantees full user control over their recordings and transcription outputs without using them for model training.
