I first encountered the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete at the CES 2026 exhibition in Las Vegas, inside one of the company’s busiest and most impressive displays – and already there it was clear that this is one of its key products for the coming year. Now, a few months later, it is also arriving in Israel, positioning itself directly at the top end of the robotic vacuum market.

Dreame is not coming here out of nowhere. In recent years, it has been pushing the category forward at a rapid pace, with sharp leaps in suction power and overall capabilities. The X60 Ultra continues exactly this line, with specifications that aim to set a new bar – at least on paper.

But as often happens in this category, the question is not only what is written in the specs, but how all of this translates into daily use. We set out to check whether the X60 Ultra really manages to justify its status – or whether this is just another numbers upgrade.

Design
From a design perspective, the Dreame X60 Ultra does not try to invent a new language – but it does feel like a clear upgrade compared to the previous generation. At first glance it looks familiar, but cleaner, more precise, and above all – simply more beautiful. There is refinement here in the small details, less of an “industrial” feel and more of a premium product that feels more natural in the living room.

The main change is in the height. Even in the previous generation, Dreame already integrated a LiDAR mechanism that can retract and flatten when needed, but here the vacuum itself is simply thinner to begin with. It may sound like a small improvement, but in practice it changes its ability to get under low furniture – places that usually remain out of reach.

And that is exactly the difference: It is not just a technical solution of “lowering the sensor,” but a vacuum that was built to be lower from the ground up. In daily use, this means fewer “dead” areas in the house, and less need to move furniture or complete cleaning manually.

The docking station has been upgraded
The docking station continues Dreame’s familiar line in its premium models. There is of course everything expected – a clean water tank, a dirty water tank, and also a detergent tank – which allow relatively automatic operation without having to chase the vacuum all the time. But the more interesting upgrade is specifically in the pad washing: Here Dreame raises the temperature up to 100 degrees, meaning boiling water. The idea is clear – to better deal with grease and to keep the pads truly clean between cleanings, not just “rinsed.”

Beyond that, Dreame also takes a step forward in design. The model I received in white looks much cleaner and more elegant than before, almost like a piece of furniture rather than another bulky docking station. The front finish with texture gives a slightly more luxurious feel, and there is also a black version for those who prefer a more solid look. It is still a large product, but one that does not feel like it needs to be hidden – on the contrary, it can be placed even in a central area of the home without looking like a design compromise.

From the safe room to the living room
One of the more practical upgrades in the X60 Ultra comes from its ability to deal with physical obstacles in the home. If in the previous generation Dreame introduced the ProLeap system, here it takes it a step further. This is a small mechanism that lifts the vacuum and allows it to climb over thresholds and steps, and now it already handles heights of up to about 8.8 cm.

In Israel, this is much more relevant than it sounds. Almost every home with a safe room has a step at the entrance – a small height difference, but one that stops quite a few robotic vacuums. In the current period, when the safe room is in daily use, it also gets dirty accordingly – dust, sand, and dirt that enter inside.

I tested this in my home, on the threshold of the safe room, and it simply passed it without a problem. No repeated attempts, no getting stuck – it just climbed and continued cleaning. It may not be the flashiest feature in the specs, but in practice it is exactly the kind of thing that determines whether a vacuum truly covers the entire house – or leaves a whole room behind.

Performance
In terms of performance, the X60 Ultra comes with a figure that is hard to ignore – suction power of up to 35,000 Pascals. As of today, this places it at the top end of the market, and in practice it is one of the highest suction powers you can find in a model available for purchase. It may sound like just another number on paper, but here it does translate into real-world results.

I will say it directly: This is the most powerful and highest-quality robotic vacuum that has been in my home over the past year, with no real competition in terms of performance. In daily use it is immediately noticeable – on hard floors it simply “sucks up everything” effortlessly, including dust, cat fur, sand, and dirt that accumulates near the entrance to the house. Even in more difficult situations, like dirt that sticks after Friday cooking, it manages to deal with it impressively already on the first pass, especially in combination with mopping.

On carpets as well, the performance is very strong. Cat fur, hair, and dirt that has sunk deeper – the X60 manages to extract a very high percentage already in the first cleaning, and in high suction modes it leaves almost no residue. This does not mean it replaces an upright vacuum in every scenario, but it comes closer than any other robotic vacuum I have tested.

The mopping complements the picture well. The use of rotating pads together with relatively hot water provides more effective cleaning, especially when it comes to dirt that sticks to the floor and not just dry dust. The result is a floor that looks cleaner to the eye, not just “wiped.”

However, there is a small but noticeable drawback in terms of usability: In the app, it is not possible to skip rooms during operation. That is, if you started a cleaning and want to exclude a certain room midway – this is not something that can be done easily, unlike what some competitors already offer. And perhaps we will get this in a future update.

Bottom line
The bottom line in the case of the Dreame X60 Ultra is quite clear. This is probably the most advanced and most powerful robotic vacuum you can buy today – at least as of now. Whether it is the suction power, navigation, ability to deal with obstacles, or the actual cleaning quality – it sets an especially high bar, one that very few competitors manage to reach.

In practice, this is a product that feels very mature. It operates precisely, covers areas intelligently, and manages to handle complex scenarios in the home without requiring too much intervention. It is a combination of power, intelligence, and consistent performance – one that you do not encounter often in this category.

The main point to consider is the price. With a tag of about NIS 5,990, this is a product that sits deep in the premium category. It is not a vacuum for everyone – but for those aiming for the very top. If you are there, and want the most advanced vacuum currently available – it is hard to see anything that comes close.
